Five teams are sharing the first place of the Enemed Futsal League after the last results we had from the fourth day of games.
Champions Luxol St Andrew’s, fresh from their participation in the UEFA Futsal Champions League, dominated the match against the Maltese under-19 selection so much so that they won 7-1.
Jefferson Breno and Jhon Castro Pulido scored a double each while Mark Zammit, Nathan Cope and Lucas da Conceicao also added their names among the scorers.
The only goal of the Maltese youngsters was scored by Luca Suda.
Referees were Clint Cassar and Marco La Rosa.
Swieqi United won the battle against Hamrun SC 4-3. It was a very nice game with Swieqi who were always ahead but with the Reds who were always in the game even though in the end they didn’t get any points.
Gregory Busuttil scored twice for Swieqi while Marcelo Alarcon and Rodrigo Rocha added more goals for their team.
Rodney Debono, Amin Louati and Hamza Harrat were the authors of Hamrun’s goals.
Referees were Stephen Vella and Clinton Cassar.
Ta Xbiex also climbed first in the table after a score of 4-2 against Marsaskala Legends.
Giancarlo Sammut, Bernardo Rosa, George Frendo and an own goal by Amir Ashtiyani were the authors of the goals for the winners.
Cristian Fernandez and Hugo Vinicius scored for the Seasouthsiders.
Referees were Clinton Cassar and Margretus Van der Val Gezinus.
The University of Malta continued with their positive moment after beating GŻR Birżebbuġa St Peter’s Futsal 5-0.
Aaron Montebello, Andre Cachia, Steven Camilleri, Luke Anthony Borg and an own goal by Armando Gjepali decided the match in favour of the University.
Referees were Danilo Francalanza and Margretus Van der Val Gezinus.
