Sliema Wanderers secured a place in the Top Six of the Closing Round after a 2-1 win over Birkirkara, thanks to two goals from Simon Zibo against his former team.
Sliema took the lead in the 22nd minute through a great long-range shot by Simon Zibo after a one-two with Pisani.
In the 61st minute, Paul Mbong equalised for Birkirkara with a solo run and a powerful shot into the top corner.
Sliema regained the lead in the 72nd minute when Pisani set up Zibo again, who scored his second with another fine finish.
In added time, Zibo nearly got his hat-trick but was denied by a good save from Grech.
