Newly promoted Melita remain unbeaten in match day 2 as surprisingly they beat Marsaxlokk 2-1. Following their draw against last season runners up Floriana in their opening match Melita managed to give Marsaxlokk their second defeat in the 360 Sports Premier League.
Two goals from Andre gave Melita the all important 3 points, while on 63 minutes Marsaxlokk managed to level the score momentary when Alex Tanque concluded a solo effort.
Melita will hope to remain unbeaten as they face Champions Ħamrun on Wednesday, while Marsaxlokk seek to gain their first points as they face Birkirkara on Thursday.
