Italian Serie B side US Catanzaro 1929 have completed the signing of N’Dri Koffi, bringing an end to the Ivorian’s spell with Ħamrun Spartans FC.
The move was finalised late in the transfer window after Catanzaro stepped up their search for attacking reinforcements. Having missed out on other targets, the Calabrian club turned their attention to Koffi and quickly reached an agreement with the Maltese champions, before concluding personal terms with the player.
The 24-year-old joined Ħamrun Spartans at the start of the season and quickly became part of a historic chapter for the club, playing a key role during their UEFA Conference League campaign. He leaves Malta after making 37 appearances in all competitions and scoring six goals.
Koffi’s departure follows weeks of transfer speculation. Earlier in the window, the striker had been close to joining Turkish side Vanspor, while interest was also reported from France. Although he initially chose to remain in Malta, the chance to test himself at a higher level ultimately proved decisive.
