Gżira United have appointed Marlon Galea as their new Technical Director, marking a return for a familiar face with a strong track record at the club.
Galea previously spent seven years at the helm, during which time Gżira secured four third-place finishes in the Malta Premier League and qualified for UEFA competitions on five occasions. His return signals the start of a new phase for the club, which is aiming to rebuild both domestically and in Europe.
Club President Sharlon Pace described the move as a strategic step forward. “With the engagement of Marlon we are sending a message that Gżira Football Club is back to business,” Pace said. “Our vision is to attract promising youngsters together with top-class foreigners to put Gżira again on the European map.”
More updates on the club’s plans and further developments are expected in the coming days.
