“We have to prove that we can compete against such teams, regardless of what will happen in Milan. We have a small chance, but we know it will be very complicated. We no longer hold our own destiny in our hands”, Xavi said at the press conference.
Before their match, Barcelona will already know if they are still in the competition for the knockout phase of the Champions League, as Inter will welcome Viktoria Plzeň from 6:45 p.m. and if they win, they will advance together with Bayern, and Barcelona will play in the Europa League in the spring.
“Whatever happens, we have to keep this mentality. We feel confident. That’s good. If we don’t qualify, we have to continue”, added Xavi.
