UEFA donated 1 million euros to help the children of Ukraine

UEFA, members of the Children’s Foundation, together with Alexander Ceferin, have decided to give one million euros from this year’s fund to the children of Ukraine.

Children are a very vulnerable group during the conflict, and it is our duty to help children defend their fundamental rights and health. Thanks to the solidarity of European football and the support of our partners, we will provide the help that children in Ukraine and neighboring countries urgently need, “said Alexander Ceferin.

The funds allocated from this fund will be used to finance the initiative of member associations and charities of UEFA, whose task is to deal with the protection of children’s rights.

The Children’s Foundation is also establishing a special fund, for which 100,000 euros have been set aside for children and assistance to refugees from Ukraine.
