Ħamrun Spartans now know who they could face next in Europe, depending on the outcome of their upcoming matches.
If they manage to beat Israeli giants Maccabi Tel Aviv in the UEFA Europa League third qualifying round, they will go on to face the loser of Dynamo Kyiv of Ukraine or Pafos of Cyprus in the play-off round. A win at that stage would secure them a place in the UEFA Conference League group stage, even if they don’t reach the Europa League groups.

If Ħamrun are eliminated by Maccabi, they will drop into the Conference League play-off round instead, where they will face the loser of the tie between RFS of Latvia and KuPS of Finland.
The play-off matches will take place on 21st August at home for Ħamrun, and on 28th August away.
