Udinese fired coach Luca Gotti after 3-1 loss to Empoli

The club leaders fired coach Luca Gotti.

After a 3-1 loss to Empoli on Monday, Udinese’s leaders fired coach Luca Gotti.

He has been on the bench of this club since July 2019, first as Igor Tudor’s assistant and then as head coach, because Croatian expert Igor Tudor was fired due to poor results.

He spent most of his coaching career as an assistant, and in addition to Udinese, he was part of Cagliari, Parma, Bologna and Chelsea.

According to a their statement, the club wishes Gotti the best of luck for the rest of his career.

They are currently in 14th place in the Serie A table, six points above the relegation zone.
