On Easter Saturday morning, the Malta Sports Journalists Association (MSJA) hosted a spirited and entertaining football match against a team of well-known local media personalities at the Mqabba F.C. Football Grounds.
While the MSJA team claimed a 9–4 victory, the true triumph of the day was the spirit of friendship and generosity in raising funds for Puttinu Cares, a local NGO dedicated to helping children with cancer and their families.
The MSJA expressed special thanks to Mqabba F.C. for graciously donating the use of their football ground for the occasion.

Media Personalities Team: Alvin Cacciattolo (Actor), Matthew Sant Sultana (Actor), Sven Fabri and Andriy John (Love Island Malta), Kevin Paul Calleja (Singer/Songwriter), Karl Bonnici (Big Brother Malta Runner-Up), Kurt Borg (Vibe FM), Carlos Farrugia (Actor, Director & Producer), Stephen Mifsud (Carmelo Arancini from Min Imissu?), Richard Aquilina (X Factor Malta Season 4 Winner), and Kevin Naudi (Comedian).
Each participant contributed a donation, which was further topped up by the MSJA to reach a total of €650. The donation was presented to Puttinu Cares by MSJA General Secretary Lorraine Cunningham and Administrator Stephen Azzopardi.
This memorable event once again demonstrated the unifying power of sport and entertainment in rallying communities together for meaningful and impactful causes.
