TEN HAG: We had everything in our hands

“Red Devils” coach Erik ten Hag did not hide his disappointment after the draw with Sevilla at Old Trafford, after 2:0 at halftime.

Manchester United led against the team from Andalusia with 2:0 at halftime, but in the end they still had to keep it 2:2, after Harry Maguire scored an own goal in the 93rd minute.

“It’s not a very nice night. We had everything in our hands at 2:0 and we should have scored another goal. However, unfortunate moments with injuries forced us to make some changes, after which we completely lost control. We conceded two own goals and we have to deal with that. Everything is still open,’ said ten Hag.

What is causing additional headaches for all Manchester fans are the injuries to stoppers Lisandro Martínez and Rafael Varane.

‘Lisandro complained of pain at a time when no one was around him, so it’s definitely not good. I can’t say anything about Varane yet,’ said Erik.
