“I’m glad that we saved the net because 11 players on the field both defend and attack together. We showed that we can do a lot when we are united,” said Ten Hag.
The United coach highlighted the transition as a segment that can be improved.
“We had to score the second goal. We had a lot of space to solve all the dilemmas from the counterattack, but we were not decisive. We will work on it,” said the Dutchman.
After two initial defeats, United climbed to fifth place in the table with three consecutive victories.
