Galatasaray eyed Ramos - prepared 11 million euros for his salary

Sergio Ramos, the former Paris Saint-Germain defender, received an offer to join Galatasaray, Turkish “Fanatik” reports.

An offer worth 5.5 million euros per year is on the table, and the contract would be signed for two years.

Galatasaray has been “eyeballing” the Spanish footballer for some time, from Istanbul they are hoping for a place in the Champions League, and accordingly they want to sign a “safe” and experienced defender.

“Fanatik” reports that there is a real possibility that Ramos will join the Turkish giant and that he will sign a contract with them if he does not receive a lucrative offer from Saudi Arabia.

In his rich career, Ramos won four Champions Leagues, and five Spanish championship titles with Real, while with the national team, he managed to win the trophy at the World Cup and became European champion twice.

Last season he played 45 games for Paris Saint-Germain and won the championship in France.

Galatasaray still has a round and a half to qualify for the group stage of the Champions League. Tonight, the Turks will play against Olimpija from Ljubljana, which they beat 3:0 in the first game, and if they win, they will face the winner of Klaksvik and Molde.
