One of Manchester City’s best players, Kevin de Bruyne, suffered a hamstring injury in the first match of the new Premier League season.

The Belgian left the field in the 23rd match of the meeting due to pain in the back box. A few days after the injury, the City coach – Pep Guardiola– revealed it was a severe injury.

“Kevin de Bruyne’s injury is serious. He will be out for a few months. “We have to decide in the coming days about the operation, but we will definitely lose him for a while,” Guardiola said.

How crucial De Bruyne is to the Citizens’ team is evidenced by the fact that he scored ten goals and 31 assists in 49 games last season.
