CHAMPIONS LEAGUE: Salzburg are not kidding, big win in Portugal

Last night, Salzburg defeated Benfica with a score of 2:0 in the first round of the group stage of the Champions League.

The match started badly for Benfica, already in the 2nd minute they missed a penalty that Konate failed to score in the 3rd minute.

Bad luck for the Portuguese continues, the 13th minute was played when Antonio Silva received a straight red card and Benfica remained the 10th player on the field.

As the icing on the cake, Simic scored the second penalty awarded to Salzburg in this match for 2:0.

Already in the 51st minute of the match, Gloukh scores a goal for a surprising 2:0, since Benfica entered this match as clear favorites.

But as it happens in football, the only numbers that count at the end are those on the scoreboard, and this time the scoreboard showed 2:0 for Salzburg, who took home all three points.
