The best footballer of Senegal, Sadio Mane, will not play in the upcoming World Cup in Qatar.
The Bayern striker was injured in the match against Werder in the Bundesliga (6:1), and the Senegalese hoped that he could play at the World Cup.
However, new tests have shown that the injury is of a more serious nature, so the Senegal will be without their killer striker.
As stated, Mane injured the fibula in the right leg.
Senegal is in Group A at the World Cup, and they will play the first match of the tournament on Monday, November 21, against the Netherlands.
