Ronaldo's options – Middle East or North of England

After the official parting with Manchester United, Cristiano Ronaldo has two options to continue his career, two completely different challenges.

Saudi Arabia is the main story in the world of football after the sensational victory of this national team over Argentina 2:1 in the 1st round of the group stage of the World Cup. And, in a way, this country will embrace one of the best football players of all time.

After terminating his contract and officially parting ways with Manchester United, it seems that Cristiano Ronaldo will continue to cooperate with leaders from Saudi Arabia. It remains to be seen whether it will be Al Nasr from Riyadh, or Newcastle, which is owned by the Saudis.

Al Nasr was mentioned during the summer as well, confirmed by Ronaldo, who at that moment rejected the club due to the desire to continue competing at the best possible level.

Newcastle is the hit of the Premier League and the “Magpies” are fourth in the table, so the arrival of the Portuguese at St. James Park looks like a more realistic option for now…

We will see Ronaldo tomorrow at the World Cup – his Portugal will play against Ghana.
