Chelsea coach Grham Potter has commented on Joao Felix’s red card, which he believes is the main reason for his team’s defeat against Fulham.
Fulham won 2:1, and the match was settled by Carlos Vinicius’ goal in the 73rd minute of the match, and 15 minutes before that, Chelsea’s new signing Joao Felix received a red card.
“We started well and had a few early chances. But a series of mistakes led to the first goal. Then we had to dig in, we started the second half well. However, the red card changed everything. We played well even with 10 players, but we had to do better in goal. A very disappointing defeat. This is another setback in a row and we have to keep fighting,” Potter said.
Chelsea suffered their fifth defeat in their last six Premier League matches and are currently in 10th place, 10 points off the Champions League spot.
