Dragan Stojkovic Piksi, the coach of the Serbian national football team, followed the game of his national team in Turin, as well as the game of the “Old Ladies” in this match.
The city derby went to Juventus, who beat Torino 1:0, but Piksi was very harsh with his evaluation of Juventus’ game.
“Juventus played differently compared to what I had seen before. Turin’s black and whites are weak in defense and due to the weak protection of the midfield, they have little intensity and cannot verticalize their attacks. Because of this, Vlahovic has slowed down in what he does best, he cannot attack the depth with his shot like a sprinter,” Stojkovic told Libero.
In the aforementioned match, in addition to Vlahovic, four other Serbian national team members played – Vanja Milinkovic-Savic, Sasa Lukic and Nemanja Radonjic from Turin and Filip Kostic from Juventus.
“As could be predicted, there was more fighting than playing. “Nobody stood out, not even Vlahovic, although he scored a goal for Juventus’ victory,” Stojković commented on the Turin derby.
