BORUSSIA CAN'T DO ANYTHING WITHOUT HALAND: Christopher Nkunku led Leipzig to victory!

Red Bull Leipzig celebrated in the derby of the 11th round of the Bundesliga.

Borussia Dortmund was defeated at the “Red Bull Arena” by 2: 1, and the most deserving for the victory of the hosts was Christopher Nkunku.

The Frenchman recorded a goal and an assist in the match, thus bringing the fifth victory of the Leipzig team this season, while Dortmund recorded its third defeat.

Nkunku threatened for the first time in the 13th minute of the match when he sent a not very precise shot from the white spot. But the Frenchman redeemed himself for his miss when he gave Leipzig the lead in the 29th minute, so the home players left at halftime with a minimal advantage.

After the 7th minute in the second half, Thomas Meunier brilliantly tricks Mark Royce, who had no difficulty in beating Gulasci.

Dortmund managed to keep the advantage only 18 minutes when after a great game Nkunku Yussuf Poulsen scored a goal and set the final outcome of the match.

Erling Haaland did not play in this match, and we will probably not see him in Borussia soon due to injury.

With this defeat, Dortmund remained in second place in the table, but now they are four points behind the first-placed Bayern Munich.

In the next round of the Bundesliga, Leipzig hosts Hoffenheim, while Borussia Dortmund welcomes Stuttgart.
