According to British media reports, Newcastle United is looking to secure the services of Paris Saint-Germain forward Neymar in the upcoming summer transfer window.
The Brazilian has a contract with PSG until 2025, but rumors of his departure have been swirling due to his unsatisfactory performance and recent protests by fans.
Owned by the Saudi prince Mohammed Bin Salman, who also owns Al Nasr, Newcastle is reportedly one of the richest clubs in the world, and believes Neymar would be a good fit for the team. Cristiano Ronaldo also plays for Al Nasr.
Neymar’s market value is estimated at 70 million euros by Transfermarkt, and he currently earns an annual salary of 44.1 million euros at PSG.
The Brazilian international joined PSG in 2017 for a record-breaking fee of 222 million euros and has scored 118 goals with 77 assists in 173 matches. Will Newcastle be able to bring in one of the world’s best players?
