Newcastle takes over Botman from Milan, Seville and Atalanta

Newcastle has become the club that is most expected in the upcoming transfer window, as they have 230 million euros at their disposal.

Since they were taken over by a consortium from Saudi Arabia, the auction with numerous football players who could come in January is not over.

However, while the “yellow press” is targeting some still unrealistic names, the well-informed insider Fabrizio Romano brings the news that they are close to the engagement of Sven Botman.

It is a 195 cm tall defender who is only 21 years old and who won the French championship ahead of PSG last year with Lille.

Since then, it has been the wish of many clubs, and the most concrete offer was sent by Milan, but it was rejected.

Botman is accompanied by Sevilla and Atalanta, who would like to see a corpulent Dutchman in their ranks.

Newcastle has problems with both defense and attack, they are currently one foot out of the Premier League and urgently want to strengthen the team.
