NATHAN AKE MISSES REAL: A headache for Guardiola before the match with Real

The Premier League champion travels to Real Madrid, but the manager of the “Citizens” Pep Guardiola will not be able to count on defender Nathan Ake.

The Dutchman was injured in the second half of the league match with Leeds at the Etihad, which City won 2:1.

It is a calf injury, which Ake suffered in the 55th minute and was immediately replaced.

The defender did not train yesterday in the first training session, so his performance for the meeting with Real is under a big question mark.

He has just recovered from a hamstring injury, which kept him out of the previous three matches in the Premier League.

The match between Real and City will be played on Tuesday, May 9 at 9 p.m. at the Santiago Bernabeu.
