The Croatian footballer was previously a teammate of Ronaldo in Real Madrid for many years, and in his statements from that period, he mostly referred to the Portuguese as the best of all time.
“It depends on football tastes, who prefers one football player to another. I don’t like to compare them, but for us, Real Madrid players, Ronaldo is the best,” said Modric in an interview reported by the Spanish “Marca” in April 2018.
