Lionel Messi: This is my last World Cup

The captain of the Argentine national team, Lionel Messi, confirmed that the World Cup in Qatar is the last in his career.

Therefore, this will be the last chance for him to conquer the “Goddess.”

“This is for sure my last World Cup, my last chance to win it,” Messi said at a press conference.

Argentina will open the World Cup with tomorrow’s match against Saudi Arabia (11 a.m.).

“We hope to continue playing as we have been doing so far. We expect a tough game against Saudi Arabia, as it always is at the opening of the World Cup. Each of us has to fight with our nervousness. We will be more relaxed in subsequent competitions if we start with a win. “We have a lot of support; it reminds me of 2014 when we reached the final,” said Lionel Messi.
