Swieqi United and Birkirkara both had big wins as they moved into the semi-finals of the Women’s Jubilee Cup.
Swieqi beat Valletta 8-0, while Birkirkara won 9-1 against San Ġwann.

Swieqi were in full control throughout the match. Salamatu Abdulai was the star, scoring four goals. Sara Saliba scored twice, and Valentina Rapa and Aleksandra Yaneva added one each.
Under coach Dorianne Theuma, Swieqi will now face Mġarr United in the semi-finals.
Birkirkara 9-1 San Ġwann
Birkirkara also showed their strength with a comfortable win. Mariah Cardona and Momo Ueda both scored twice. Amy Busuttil, Ylenia Grech, Haruhi Sekura, Maia Gauci, and Lara May Azzopardi also scored.
Despite the loss, San Ġwann managed a late goal thanks to Morena Fanega.
Birkirkara will now play Hibernians in the other semi-final.
