The four fixtures in the BOV Challenge League on Saturday concluded in stalemates.
At the Victor Tedesco Stadium, St. Andrews and Valletta played out a goalless draw, while Fgura United versus Senglea Athletic at the Centenary Stadium also saw no goals scored.
At the same venue, Zebbug Rangers and Gudja United ended in a 1-1 tie. Duvan Mosquera netted a penalty for Zebbug in the 36th minute, and Dale Mifsud equalised with another spot-kick in the 68th minute.
Meanwhile, Zurrieq managed to salvage a point in their 1-1 draw against Lija Athletic at the Victor Tedesco Stadium. Renold Winchester gave Lija the lead in the 25th minute, but Jerry Seremba Mwenda levelled the score in injury time.
Valletta are at the top with 22 points, followed by Marsa with 17, Zurrieq on 16, Sirens and Pieta’ both on 15, Swieqi and Gudja with 14 each, Tarxien with 13, Mgarr on 12, Santa Lucia at 10, Zebbug and St. Andrews each on 9, Fgura with 8, Senglea at 6, Lija with 5, and Mtarfa at the bottom with 3.
