The Lens football players managed to reach the 1/4 finals of the French Cup as they were better than Lorient last night, after the penalty shootout.
After 90 minutes, the score was 1:1, and the guests won 4:2 in the penalty shootout.
It seemed that Lens would secure a place in the next round already in the regular course of the match since they had a 1:0 advantage with Fulgini’s goal in the 21st minute.
The guest controlled the events on the field until the 84th minute when Lee Fee scored to make it 1:1, but that did not help Lorient as the “Red and Golds” were more successful in the penalty shootout.
