Leipzig Appoints New Sporting Director

RB Leipzig has announced the appointment of Reuven Schroder as the club’s new sporting director. Schroder, who previously held the same position at Schalke, will officially start his new role on April 1.

In his new position, Schroder will report to Leipzig’s CEO Max Eberl and will oversee scouting operations as well as first team matters.

The club’s decision to hire Schroeder comes at a time when Leipzig is currently ranked fourth in the Bundesliga standings with 42 points. Leipzig hopes that Schroder will help the club build on its recent success and continue to compete at the highest level of German football.
