Australian Nick Kyrgios entered the new season with defeat by Felix Auger Aliassime at the World Tennis League, but he believes that the new season can be better than the previous one.
He was asked what he expects from the new season?
- I hope I can win the Grand Slam and just retire. – Kyrgios pointed out.
Although 2022 was a great year for him, Nick believes that he would not repeat it.
– ”Would I agree now if it were the same? Honestly, I’m not sure. It took a lot of hard work and a lot of discipline. And it seems to me that as you achieve better results, people just expect even more from you. But the truth is that I had a lot of fun this year. I can proudly say that I played a Grand Slam final, that I enjoyed it and that I felt better on the court.” Nick concluded.
