Klopp: We have to start playing better

Liverpool coach Jurgen Klopp said today that the match against Chelsea is still not close to cancellation, after three more positive cases of coronavirus in the team, Sky Sport reported.
Who is positive for the coronavirus, Klopp refused to say and added that everything will be seen by the lineup that runs to the Chelsea duel.

“It’s like we’re in the lottery when we wait for the results. New cases are arriving day by day,” Klopp said.

“The only way to reach City is to win. This is not easy at the moment. We are playing against Chelsea, which has similar problems as us. Certainly, Chelsea is not beaten by an average game, we have to give our best, to be the best,” said Klopp.

“We can talk about the match against Leicester. Despite not being the best game, we should have won, but we didn’t use our chances. “We have to start playing better because, in order to reach City, we have to play much better football,” said Klopp.

Liverpool is currently third on the table with 41 points, one less than second-placed Chelsea and nine less than first-placed City, but also one game less than both teams.

The Liverpool-Chelsea match will be played on Sunday, January 2 at 5:30 p.m.
