Klopp: I'm not here to fill your front pages

Tonight, the Liverpool players will host Napoli in the first round of the group stage of the Champions League, and Reds coach Jurgen Klopp was angered by a journalist’s question about the safety of the fans in Naples.

The official fan service has posted a message calling on all fans traveling to Naples to stay in their hotels and not wear the club’s badges when moving around the city center.

The Liverpool coach was angered by this question from the journalist.

“That’s a shameful question. You want to make a headline for a newspaper. I do not understand you. Are you from Naples? Do you think it’s a dangerous city? I don’t know, I don’t live in Naples. When I go there, I walk from the hotel to the stadium and now you ask me what I think about Naples.” – Klopp said and added

You know very well what people are talking about. If some fans meet some other fans somewhere, something can happen. It has nothing to do with any city.

I’m not here to fill your front pages. If you don’t have anything else to ask, that’s no problem because I’d like to go back to the hotel and concentrate on tomorrow’s game. And it seems to me that you don’t know what else to ask me when you ask me these kinds of questions,” Klopp was very angry.
