Maltese ladies bow down to Portuguese counterparts in second half

A penalty paved the way for a Portugal win minutes into the second half.

Another goal later in the second part of the match was enough for Portugal to overcome a solid Malta team in the second Women’s Euro 2025 Group B3 qualifier on Tuesday night at the Centenary Stadium.

This 0-2 loss followed last week’s goalless draw against Northern Ireland in Belfast.
