Kylian Mbappe has been accused of rape and sexual harassment at a Swedish hotel, according to local media reports.
Mbappe earlier today blasted a report as ‘fake news’ about an alleged rape at the hotel where he was staying with friends last week.
But now Swedish newspaper Expressen claims it is Mbappe who is being investigated by police after allegations were made against the Real Madrid star.

The footballer was visiting Sweden from Wednesday to Friday last week with mates, lodging at the Bank Hotel in the city centre.
The alleged rape supposedly occurred on Thursday. Earlier that evening, Mbappe had dined at Chez Jolie restaurant, then went to V nightclub before returning to his hotel in a black van with his group.
Today, Mbappe shared a news article on X about an alleged rape at the hotel, stating: ‘Fake News! It’s becoming so predictable, just before the hearing as if by chance.’
A hearing is scheduled for tomorrow regarding his dispute with former club PSG over £46million in unpaid wages and bonuses.
Expressen said the a report was filed with police two days later.
Swedish newspaper Aftonbladet reports that police are investigating a rape at the central Stockholm hotel, which allegedly happened Thursday night.
Investigators and a forensic unit were at the alleged crime scene on Monday, according to Aftonbladet.
The newspaper reported that the alarm over the alleged rape was raised when the woman ‘sought care’ at a local hospital.
Mbappe left Sweden’s Bromma airport in a private jet on Friday.
The prosecutor in charge of the rape investigation declined to comment on the case, telling local media: ‘I will not say anything about this.’
Stockholm police issued a similar statement to MailOnline via spokesperson Carina Skagerlind: ‘The police can neither confirm or deny such a case.’
According to Aftonbladet, no suspects have been named in the case yet.
MailOnline has contacted the local prosecutor’s office as well as Bank Hotel for comment.
This comes ahead of tomorrow’s hearing over £46million in unpaid bonuses and wages which PSG have been ordered to pay Mbappe.
Mbappe was due to get a signing bonus in February and is due unpaid wages wages from his seven-year spell in Paris before he transferred to Real Madrid in June.
PSG have refused to pay the sum and follow the ruling by the French professional football’s governing body LFP.
It is understood that Mbappe contacted UEFA over the salary dispute last month.
Thursday evening, when Mbappe was seen in the V nightclub in Stockholm, was the same night his teammates from France’s national squad beat Israel 4-1.
