After visiting the European Parliament, Inter’s President and CEO met President Metsola at the Bocconi University for the conference “Sport as a key factor for European policies: The impact of the Olympic and Paralympic Games on our society.”
Just a few days after the Nerazzurri delegation’s visit to the European Parliament, coinciding with Inter’s UEFA Champions League match against Union Saint-Gilloise, Inter President and CEO Giuseppe Marotta met once again with European Parliament President Roberta Metsola during the event “Sport as a key factor for European policies: the impact of the Olympic and Paralympic Games on our society”, organised by Bocconi University in collaboration with the European Parliament Office in Italy.
The conference was held to mark twenty years since Turin 2006 and to celebrate the return of the Winter Olympics and Paralympics to Europe, reaffirming the values of inclusion, respect, and teamwork.
On this occasion, President Metsola was presented with the Inter Women jersey of her fellow Maltese national, Haley Bugeja, the 2004-born forward currently representing the Nerazzurre.
