Milan football player, 41-year-old striker Zlatan Ibrahimovic, in a statement to the Italian media, emphasized that he is not an egoist and that the team’s success is his first priority.
“I want to contribute in every possible way. I’m not egoistic and I don’t want to achieve everything by myself. I came to Milan with the intention of giving my best – helping my teammates to progress and the team to be successful while understanding the process we are going through. It requires a lot of sacrifices and hard work, I didn’t come to cut time. Assistants are just as important as goal scorers, I do everything in my power”, said the attacker and added:
“I became the oldest assistant in the history of Milan – that’s a record for ‘old men’, and I feel young! It is very important to me that the team wins. I do everything to help, even as the oldest player”.
In his rich career, Ibrahimovic played for Malmo, Ajax, Juventus, Inter, Barcelona, Milan (on three occasions), Paris Saint-Germain, Manchester United and Los Angeles Galaxy.
