Manchester City manager Pep Guardiola summed up his impressions after his team’s turnaround and victory over Red Star.
City had 22 shots on goal in the first half, but managed to beat Glazer only in the second half.
Guardiola spoke after the match about the inefficiency of his team.
“We had many chances in the last two games. We played well, but we weren’t able to score a goal. We were constant in our game and in the end deservedly celebrated.” Guardiola said.
He also revealed what he said to the players at halftime, when his team was losing 0:1.
“I told them that we cannot play badly, to forget about the result and to have the strength to turn around.” Pep concluded.
