GALTIER DOESN'T WANT TO GO: I deserve to stay, this season was special!

Paris Saint-Germain football coach Christophe Galtier, after winning the title in the French League 1, points out that he deserves to stay at the club from Paris next season as well.

Last night, Paris Saint-Germain drew with Strasbourg in the 37th round of the French Ligue 1 with a score of 1:1 and thus achieved a record 11th French championship title.

PSG is first in the table with 85 points, while Lens is second with four points less, and one more round remains to be played before the end of the season.

The French media claim that Galtier will be fired at the end of the season since the Saints did not achieve their main goal, which is winning the Champions League.

However, the coach of the Parisians does not think so.

“I deserve a second season at PSG. I’ll say it again because no one wants to hear it, but this season was special. We had to stay on track when everyone thought we were drowning. Kudos to my players who did not give up. The value of this title should not be diminished”, emphasized Galtier.

Some French media announced that the new coach of the “saints” could be the Spaniard Luis Enrique, for whom Napoli also showed interest.
