AC Milan is bolstering its squad with the acquisition of 20-year-old Filippo Terracciano from Verona, marking the second signing in this transfer window. After bringing back Matteo Gabbia from Villarreal, Milan has secured the young Verona player for €4.5 million.
Terracciano, a Verona academy product, has played 41 matches for the senior team, contributing two assists. Both Fiorentina and Juventus showed interest in the player, but Filippo is set to join Milan and will be officially presented in the coming days. Milan was drawn to Terracciano because of his versatility to play in multiple positions, with a preference for wing-back roles.
Milan has reached an oral agreement with Verona and is prepared to pay €4.5 million plus an additional €1 million in bonuses. With this addition, Milan has ensured a future successor to Davide Calabria and provided relief to Theo Hernandez.
