Manchester United tried with all their might to hire Chelsea’s attacking midfielder, Mason Mount, but after three rejected offers, they decided to give up on the English representative.
Mount lost his place in the starting line-up of “Blues”, so it was expected that he would change the middle this summer.
The most interest in his services was shown by United, who sent as many as three offers to Chelsea’s address, the last of which was 55,000,000 pounds.
However, Chelsea remained steadfast in their intention not to sell their player to a big rival in the Premier League, so Mount is still at Stamford Bridge.
As reported by the British media, the management of United believes that in London they had the idea of underestimating the “Red Devils”, which caused the club to abandon Mount.
The winner of the Champions League two years ago has a valid contract with Chelsea until June next year, while the question arises – will an offer greater than 55,000,000 pounds arrive in London?
