Tottenham manager Antonio Conte will have to undergo surgery to remove his gallbladder, so his presence in the match against Manchester City is questionable.
The announcement of the London club does not state how long the Italian football coach will be absent after the operation.
“Conte has recently had problems with stomach pains. After he was diagnosed with cholecystitis, today he will be operated on to remove the gallbladder,” the London club said in a statement, adding:
“Our coach will return after the recovery period”.
Tottenham is currently in fifth place in the Premier League, and on Sunday in the 22nd round, they will welcome Manchester City on their field.
