A lot of dust has been raised about Rudiger’s departure from Chelsea, and now we have a similar scenario with Andreas Christensen!
The Danish football player did not make an agreement with “the Blues”, but as he says, he is not worried about that much.
Christensen has been negotiating with the club since August, and Chelsea sent an offer of 140,000 pounds a week, which was rejected by the stopper’s agents because that would leave him as one of the lowest-paid players in the starting lineup.
The Danish was in trouble in the first few seasons, but with the arrival of Thomas Tuchel, he got the opportunity and used it. He had an important role in winning the Champions League.
An interesting fact is that in the last 55 games he played for Chelsea and the Danish national team, his team managed to save its net in as many as 44 matches!
- I honestly don’t think much about the new contract. I know that coaches appreciate me and that is why I am happy. I don’t know where I will play next year. I would like it to be Chelsea, but I’m not the only one wondering – said Christensen.
Although negotiations have stalled, the Danish player is not worried about his fate at Chelsea.
