Chiellini retires after 116 games for Italy!

The captain of the Italian national football team, one of the heroes of Euro 2020, Giorgio Chiellini, is saying goodbye to national football after 116 matches.

The last match of the Juventus players will be at Wembley, the same one at which they conquered Europe last summer, and the opponent is magnificent, because Italy will play against Argentina in the Intercontinental Cup (winners of Europe and South America).

I will say goodbye to the national team at Wembley, the place where I reached the peak of my career by winning the European Championship. “I want to say goodbye to a beautiful memory,” said Chiellini.

It’s a shame about the missed World Cup and Northern Macedonia’s shocking defeat.

He played 116 games for the national team and is in fifth place on the eternal list with Andrea Pirlo.
