Football club Chelsea and German manager Tomas Tuchel are in negotiations regarding the extension of the contract.
“My representatives talk to the owners of Chelsea and take care of everything else. You know how glad I am to be here and how much I like it,” said Tomas Tuchel.
Tuchel arrived at Stamford Bridge in January 2021, and currently has a contract until 2024.
He first signed an 18-month contract after arriving as a replacement for Frank Lampard, and then extended it after winning the Champions League in 2021 with the London club.
“There are talks, but I think that, considering the current situation and the fact that the transfer window is in progress, it is best for me to focus on my team and be competitive,” added the German expert.
Tuchel will still be on the team’s bench in the next match, given that he was suspended for one game due to the conflict with Tottenham’s Italian coach Antonio Conte last weekend.
