The draw for the National League took place yesterday, determining the initial matchday and the order of fixtures for all clubs in their respective divisions.
BOV Challenge League This season’s BOV Challenge League will showcase 16 teams. On the first matchday, Sirens FC will go head-to-head with Valletta FC, both of which were demoted from the Premier League last season. Another noteworthy matchup is the newly promoted Mgarr United FC facing off against Gudja United FC, which was also relegated from the Premier League.
In the first round, all teams will compete in 15 games. Following this, the top 8 teams will form a Top 8 Group, while the remaining 8 clubs will create a Play-Out Group. The top two teams from the Top 8 Group will be promoted, while the bottom two teams from the Play-Out Group will face relegation.

Assikura Women’s League
The Assikura Women’s League, consisting of eight teams, will commence with exciting matches. This includes reigning champions Birkirkara FC taking on San Gwann FC and Mgarr United FC battling it out against Mtarfa FC. Other fixtures include Hibernians FC vs Swieqi United FC and Valletta FC vs Lija Athletic FC.

IZIBET National Amateur League I
The IZIBET National Amateur League I, with 16 teams, will see each team playing 15 games in the first round. The top six teams will advance to the Top 6 Group, while the remaining teams will form the Play-Out Group. The top two teams from the Top 6 Group will earn promotion, while the bottom two teams from the Play-Out Group will face relegation.


IZIBET National Amateur League II
Comprising 10 teams, the IZIBET National Amateur League II will have each team play two rounds for 18 games. The bottom two teams will need to re-apply for the next season. The top four teams will enter a final round, with the top two being promoted to the IZIBET National Amateur League I.
