Union Berlin footballer Leonardo Bonucci said that he has to approach matches in the German championship in a different way than was the case when he played in Italy due to the different dynamics of the match.
Bonucci left Juventus this summer to join Union in a historic first season in the group stage of the Champions League for the club. Urs Fischer’s players are in a series of disastrous results, as they started with three consecutive triumphs, and then tied four defeats in all competitions.
“It is difficult, but I have no doubt that we will be better. The Bundesliga is completely different from Serie A – here the most important thing is to press the striker, and in Italy, it was often enough to retreat.” said the Italian and added:
“In Germany, it is necessary to have a strong ability to anticipate because you are facing opponents like Boniface, who is a very fast football player.”
