Salvatore Bocchetti leads Verona!

Salvatore Bocchetti has been named the new head coach of Verona in Italy.

He will replace Gabriele Cioffi, who was fired on Tuesday after a series of bad results.

After nine rounds, Verona had only one win and five points, so it was clear that there would be a change of coach.

He previously worked as an assistant to Ivan Juric in Verona, where he led the club to 10th place in Serie A.

After that, Juric took over Torino. This is the 35-year-old Bocchetti’s first coaching job in the senior competition.

Since Salvatore does not yet have a UEFA coaching license, he will be accompanied by a member of the coaching staff who has that license.
