Barcelona today officially introduced the interim coach of the club after the departure of Ronald Koeman.
The Dutchman was replaced after a series of disastrous results, there was a lot of talk about his replacement, but for now, a transitional solution has been set.
Today at the conference, the President of Barcelona, Joan Laporta, presented the interim head coach Sergi Barjuan.
- First of all, I would like to thank the club for their trust. Secondly, I want to embrace Koeman because we have been working side by side all these months. I come at a difficult time. I liked the way we worked today. We have to try to connect, which is difficult. We have to be unique. The way the game will change, and some tactical concepts could provide a solution – said the new Barça coach and then added:
- I am a winner and we all have to turn the situation around. If I have to intervene in situations for the benefit of the team, I will hit it off. We have to win the game tomorrow. We have to go back to our idea of ‘vertical’ football.
