Atalanta football player and German national team player – Robin Gosens, is the target of Newcastle.
Gosens allegedly agreed to the terms with the club from the Premier League, but an offer to the team from Bergamo in the name of compensation is awaited. It is expected that “Magpies” will have to set aside around 30 million euros in order to realize the transfer.
The German should get a contract of three and a half years, and a salary of 3.5 million euros a year, which is three times more than his current salary.
Atalanta director Umberto Marino did not want to confirm or deny the story.
– It’s like playing bingo. Every day we read how they are interested in our players from Newcastle. The only thing that is true is that Robin is out of the field due to injury for four months and that we miss him both as a player and as a person – said Marino.
The German came to Bergamo from the Dutch Heracles in 2018 and fully affirmed himself in Italy.
He scored 25 goals and recorded 18 assists in 121 games for Atalanta.
