German footballer Niklas Sule is leaving Bayern Munich for the summer as a free agent because he did not accept the offer to extend his contract.
The Bavarians did everything to keep the defender, increasing his salary from seven to ten million euros a year, but that does not seem to be satisfactory for Zile. He, therefore, informed the management that he was leaving at the end of the season.
This is the second year in a row that the champion of Germany is left without an important defensive player due to finances. Last summer, it was David Alaba, who strengthened Real Madrid as a free agent.
In the previous period, Barcelona, Chelsea, and Newcastle showed interest in Sule, so it remains to be seen where the German national team player will continue his career.
He has been a member of Bayern Munich since 2017 when he moved from Hoffenheim. He played 158 matches for the Bavarians, where he managed to score six goals and record four assists.
